I've got a DV1000 and want to upgrade. I mostly do multitaksing like watching a video, surfing and writing a paper. Maybe a little bit of lite gaming. What should I get?

I've got a DV1000 and I've already maxed out the ram. Is there anything else I can really upgrade? Will I notice much of a diff if i use a 7200rpm hard drive vs what mine has right now(4200/5400)?

Yea i've tried it out. Nice so far, haven't had any stability issues either, seems to work fine with all the vista drivers as well. Taskbarr is a nice feature, other than that not too many huge changes over vista, should be interested to see what microsoft chooses to ship.

I've really enjoyed my G7 wireless mouse, rechargeable battery. $50-60 Only downside is only one thumb button.

My laptop comes with integrated 802.11G, would I notice any difference if I upgraded to a 802.11N card?

Just downloaded and installed windows 7 on my HP laptop last week, seems like a really nice operating system so far. All the drivers and software from Vista work just fine and haven't had a crash or any problems yet. Anyone else have any feedback on windows 7?

First it depends what model XPS? Sometimes you can use a PA-12 over a PA-10 on smaller XPS models, but use what is listed on the bottom or preferably what it came with. There should only be a $5 or so difference between a PA-10 and a PA-12 so if it came with a PA-10 then you should stick with using that.

If you're looking for a desktop replacement mouse then I'd go with something out of the logitech MX series. I've enjoyed my MX1100 despite the fact that it doesnt come with a recharable battery pack you can always add rechargeable batteries to it.

If you want something that will be a lot smaller and may not be as comfortable for longer use periods VX Nano is a solid mouse as well.

My laptop adapter died on my Dell XPS. Can I use A PA-12 since It's a little cheaper or should I use a PA-10 Since that's what it came with?

I'm looking for a good wireless usb or bluetooth mouse. Not more than $50, but something that will last a while. Preferably logitech over Microsoft or razor.
